How it works:

ScanWorks systems combine the ease-of-use of portable movers with Perceptron's advanced 3D scanning technology.  Our portable scanning solutions use non-contact, laser-based technology to generate 3D point cloud data at a rate of 23,000 to 458,400 points per second.

What makes ScanWorks better?

1. Dynamic range

ScanWorks scanners do not require toxic powder sprays and paints to scan dark and reflective surfaces. Most scanner manufacturers claim to be able to handle black and chrome surfaces, few actually deliver on that promise.

2. Accuracy

ScanWorks products have been approved by military and government engineers to provide the most accurate scan data available in the market today.  Each sensor we produce is thoroughly tested and verified before it ever leaves our manufacturing facility.
