Traditional ring gauging is a manual, time-consuming process that relies on a small sampling of points on a small sampling of parts. With AutoScan, a robot mounted sensor sweeps across the entire surface of the part to provide a more complete picture – faster and with highly accurate results. DRAMATIC COST SAVINGS With traditional ring gauges, each new part requires a new gauge and checking fixture – which can costs upwards of $100,000. With AutoScan, subsequent parts can be introduced with minimal programming changes so cost savings quickly add up. MEASURE MORE PARTS PER SHIFT AutoScan’s robot mounted sensor is programmed to move continuously over a part or sub-assembly, greatly reducing the time required to inspect each part.
